Last month I signed on to Judith Calamazoo’s 20 Things, 20 People, 20 Days Give or Take project, in which 20 people from hither and yon make 20 pieces of art, which are sent to Judith, who then sends out packages of 20 different things.
So I bulked up, grew a beard, stood in front of a paint-spattered boombox playing “A White Shade of Pale,” became obsessed with the nape of Rosanna Arquette’s neck (I helped her, loved her, but she left me for Steve Buscemi), and eventually, working through the pain, I produced this.
