Jennifer Sterling wants to make type sing.

No, Jennifer Sterling wants to jump around and say, “Substance is irrelevant! Look at me! Look at me!” while arbitrarily flinging letterforms around. “Look at my mouse go!” says Jennifer.

“I can design a great piece, but unless it gets into Communication Arts I haven’t done my job.”

After all, a designer’s only duty is to win awards. Function is for bores who don’t know how to jump around and point at themselves for money.

Sterling believes that annual reports should attract notice as objects in their own right, not merely as collections of financial data.

Oh, fuck me.
