Ah, convergence. For some reason this cover design for Jeffrey Simpson’s latest eyeglazer is considered news.
Is it the painful literalness, the humourless parody, the artless composition, the kindergarten Photoshopping, or the curious choice of Microsoft Impact? Is it the klieg light of mediocrity emanating from the book? The sheer dorkiness? The ba-dum-splat oneliner of the title, begging no further investigation? The feckless trivialization of legitimate outrage?
Just wondering.
