- Everyone drives at maximum speed, all the time, and the roadsigns engage you directly: You do not have right of way; You are in an urban area, slow down.
- Flea markets show that crap, even if French, is still crap.
- All people over 60 have heroic tales of La Résistance; rather like boomers and Woodstock.
